UI Designs

During my internship at Prifina, I have had the opportunity to design UI mockups for apps and widgets to demonstrate the kinds of applications that Prifina would enable developers to build.

With Prifina, developers could take data that users upload to their individual clouds — think data from wearables (Fitbit and Oura), Netflix, sleep tracking apps, weather apps, Strava or other running apps, Grubhub, etc — and build apps personalized to each user.

Below, you’ll find examples of my work. I would love to hear feedback as well as ideas for other apps that you would like to see built with individual users’ data.

 Mobile Apps

Exercise Assistant

This app would combine local weather data with exercise history to give recommendations for the best time to run in your area.

Pollen Response App

This app would suggest areas to avoid based on a person’s physiological response to allergens and also keep records for further medical review.

 Widgets

Widgets are essentially mini apps. They provide a condensed snapshot of information that a user might otherwise have to scroll through a mobile or desktop application to find. They present a unique and fun challenge: How do I provide the user with useful information in such a small package?

Exercise Assistant (revisited)

The exercise assistant in widget form would give the user the most important information at a glance without the user even opening up the app.

To Do List

This to-do list app would suggest items or remind the user of often repeated items on their to do list.

Sleep Quality

This widget finds trends in sleep quality by comparing sleep data and screen time. I plan to dive deeper into this topic and look at how sleep is affected by the type of programming users watch before bed as well.
